About the Role
The Business Development Executive at Gemius is the first impression we make on a potential client, and the person who sees that relationship through to closure. This is a role for someone who is commercially sharp, relationship-driven, and persistent without being pushy.
You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying leads and making first contact, to pitching, negotiating, and closing. You will work closely with the Strategy Head, Client Servicing, and Creative teams to ensure every prospect gets the right conversation at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Identify and source potential clients across industries relevant to Gemius.
- Conduct proactive outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking channels.
- Maintain an updated and well-tracked lead pipeline with consistent follow-ups.
Client Qualification & Briefing
- Conduct initial requirement discussions to understand client needs, budget, timelines, and scope.
- Qualify leads based on fit and share internally validated briefs with the Strategy Head for deck preparation.
Pitch Coordination
- Schedule pitch meetings and coordinate between the Strategy Head and clients.
- Attend pitch meetings to understand client expectations, ensure continuity, and address commercial or operational questions not covered in the strategy deck.
Proposals, Commercials & Closure
- Share proposals, pricing structures, and service details with prospects.
- Negotiate commercials within defined company guidelines.
- Drive consistent follow-ups from pitch to deal closure and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Relationship Management & Re-Engagement
- Maintain strong rapport with prospects and new clients through the sales process.
- Ensure a smooth, documented handover to the Client Servicing and Onboarding teams post-closure.
- Re-engage older leads for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified leads generated per month.
- Number of pitches delivered.
- Deal closure rate (%).
- Monthly and quarterly revenue target achievement.
- Follow-up turnaround time.
- Accuracy and completeness of post-closure client handovers.
